I'M OBSESSED WITH EBAY. I don't do much bidding, but the "make an offer" option is great. You can score great deals! Look for sellers with high ratings and high numbers of ratings. Also, look for sellers with return options.

I've used Ebay only a couple of times and didn't really enjoy it. The layout is a bit outdated, it doesn't feel like there is all that much moderation going on, and I guess I just really don't like bidding wars. I know it's up to the seller, but I really hate when they don't have a buy now option. I guess that is just the nature of Ebay and it's just not for someone like me.

I've always had a poor experience the few times I've shopped via eBay. I'd "win" the bidding war for an item, and the seller would never send the item. Unfortunately, my money had already been sent, and I lost about $50. I contacted eBay multiple times, but they were difficult to work with and I ended up never getting my money back. There are great items on there, but I would recommend looking elsewhere before purchasing on eBay.

Have an account and still buy however it seems that some of the business that use there site are not that trust worthy. I have always got my money back and they do back you but it should be more watched and an eye kept on repeat offenders of bad products.

Let me tell you, big fan of eBay products, but they always think I am a crazy fraudulent person and I have to explain myself to a nice man in a call center every time I make a purchase. This is fine, but it is not very convenient. The call center employees are always nice, but it seems like an unnecessary precaution to buy an 8 dollar Coco pin.

There are a lot of offers and many are at better prices than other websites. There is always the risk of the product not being what is advertised but eBay has tried to eliminate that. The shipping takes longer than Amazon.
