Rented a car through Costco travel. Avis was company at the Austin, TX airport. They gave me an upgrade and did not say anything about increasing my rental fee. Rental agreement was for about 380$ with all taxes and fees as printed at desk. Charged my card over 600$. When I called to complain they were very rude. Did not give me a full refund. Avis and Costco never again! Never been ripped off by a car rental like dishonest Avis!

I find the lowest prices on their site. I love how it compares the different companies to each other on the same page. Their customer service isn't great though.

I tried other travel websites and none can beat Costco prices. We used Costco travel for our rental car when we went to Hawaii. The price was unbeatable for a great car.

Reserved a rental car for my wife and I for vacation/honeymoon our first vacation together, I went through Costco and budget was the cheapest. I called budget the day of before picking it up and it was going to cost another $200 for security deposit. The Costco travel booking does not show any extra fees only the price. Beware!

It was good, and probably still is for short distance but now they only give you 100 miles a day? So now it is better to go thru the rental company itself and not Costco Travel especially if you are traveling far, otherwise you will be paying .20 every mile gone over!!! It used to be a great deal, no more!!!😣😢

Hard to beat the rates with Costco travel. I used to waste time trying to beat the Costco rate, but now I don't even bother.

Costco cars is a much cheaper alternative to enterprise and hurts. It is just as reliable and renowned; however, it isn’t as widespread as other companies.
