Square is beyond valuable when it comes to handling my business sales transactions. All transactions are safe and speedy. And the rates for the service are reasonable and easy to manage behind the scenes. Their tools are always reliable and their customer service is beyond helpful. A must for small business. It has sure helped mine!

The best thing about square is the POS is easy to use. The worst thing is when I first started there were options I was able to use without being charged. Now, these options have been taken away for everyone and they started charging a fee. It seems like they are breaking things down into add on items you have to pay for. So every little thing you want to do is a new add on item. It is just getting to be too expensive any more. Some of the add on items I really need but I am just going to seek out a new POS instead.

Pricing
Square does not require a monthly payment. This is advantageous to business as they may have times where business is less consistent than others. One challenge to bear in mind is if you are making a significant amount of sales each month, you may end up paying more per month just from service fees. Do your research!
Other fees that you will not need to deal with when using square include startup fees, authorization fees, statement fees, refund fees, PCI-compliance fees, and business card fees.
Software and Hardware
Finding the right software for your sales, inventory, employee management, and many more business needs can prove difficult. Square features and integrations include sending invoices, gift cards sales, private customer feedback, creating customer profiles, app integration, POS service integration, and email marketing.
