I get it, if Tinder didn't lead the way for these instant gratification dating apps someone else would. But I absolutely hate what Tinder represents and has done for dating culture in my age range (26). I'm sure they have helped the spread of STDs by making quick mindless hookups so effortless. All that being said I do know some mutual friends who have been in a long term relation ship from tinder so not all bad I guess.

Honestly, If you are looking to just meet people in your area this isn't the app for you. There can be a few awesome people among the swiping but the majority of people on the site are there for hookups. If you are looking for a long term relationship this could work for you but I wouldn't count on it personally.

Tinder is cool if you're just looking for a hookup. I have yet to meet someone on there that is looking to actually go on dates and get to know someone. Pretty self guided when it comes to set up and deletion of your account though.

Actual cunsumer review sights have it down to about a star and a half. Ask yourself this. If everybody leaves fast and tnider buys, not sales, advertising, how do they make their money? Data mining like fb and twitter. Get all your info then piss you off before they need more servers

When I used tinder there seemed to be a lot of fake profiles and sicko robots leaving nasty links, so I uninstalled the app. When I had the app for about a year, I think it produced 2-3 dates. Not worth installing.

I can't stand tinder. There should be some sort of system to monitor reports of bullying/abuse, because as far as I can tell, whatever system they have in place at the moment doesn't work at all. The customer service will take days if not weeks to contact you when you have a problem. I would suggest staying far, far away from tinder.

I paid just over £70 for a full years membership on Tinder. Started off ok, then photos all disappeared (my own and of the men). None would show up on screen.All i get is the wording! I have re-downloaded the app again and again, its still the same. I have complained. . . .nothings been done. . . . .total waste of money! NOT RECOMMENDED! ! !

The only thing about Tinder that works well is that it loads at a decent speed. The interface in not appealing to look at and the quality of photos is low. There also seems to be a lot of scamming and it is hard to find Tinder's policy regarding that.
