The Bad

  • Pets
Surprisingly, Towneplace Suites hardly has complaints for a midprice hotel. However, the downside to being a pet-friendly hotel is the noise pets make. Some guests have had bad experiences when booked next to a suite with a dog that barks non-stop.

The Bottom Line

Towneplace Suites has hotels across the United States and in Canada. It caters to the extended stay, mid-price market with rare complaints and consistent five star guest reviews. It offers many favorable trademarked amenities and is pet-friendly-both a plus and a minus regarding the noise factor, depending on if you're the pet owner or the person staying next door.

Stayed at the TownePlace Suites Gaithersburg for a weekend in November while our house was painted. The room had a full kitchen, a queen bed and a sleeper couch. Four of were fairly comfortable, would have been nicer to have two queen beds but it was not available. Room included breakfast, HBO and the kids were able to swim in their pool. The location is a bit isolated there is not much to do in the immediate area except some restaurants and a lake to walk around. The room is a great value for the money, would recommend staying there.

I stayed in a Towneplace Suites for work once, and it was a clean and comfortable room. It was definitely an older hotel, but was still a pleasant stay. Customer service was friendly and helpful.

Townplace Suites offers a clean and well kept place to stay with "kitchen" facilities available in each room. They also offer a modest complementary continental breakfast. If you are looking for "frills and extras" in the rooms this may not be the place to stay. If, however, you are looking for a clean place with all the basics at a reasonable price, I've found Townplace Suites very acceptable.

Towneplace Suites is a good option if you are looking for a deal. The rooms are clean and you get Marriott customer service. The rooms are not as nice as other Marriott hotels, but you get what you pay for.

Our family trusts any Marriott hotel. Our stay at Towneplace Suites didn't disappoint and was comfortable, clean and very pleasant.

Towne Place facilities are usually newer and well kept. They offer a more "basic" facility at very competitive prices. The breakfast is sufficient but very modest.

Absolutely horrible service. The room had stains on the wall when I stayed at a location in Colorado. Would not recommend this to anyone trying to enjoy their stay.
