Humana insurance was horrible. I thought I was purchasing health insurance that would take care of me and my families needs but they did not. They rarely covered the costs of my DME needs and seemed like I was paying too much for an insurance that didn't cover much of anything.

My plan offers dental, hearing, and vision. So, its great to be able to go through one insurance company. The copay is also relatively low.

We were on a high deductible plan when my daughter need surgery. I called and had everything pre-authorized for coverage and it was approved. After surgery I was notified that nothing was covered. Luckily I had the Name of the agent and date of the conversation. It ended up being covered but with a fight!! Not a company that I want to be with!!

Coverage is very limited, especially in rural areas or small towns. They do however cover lots of costs. They are very expensive too.
