Several of Program Options

The Recovery Village has many different options for recovery, including drug and alcohol rehab, medical detox, dual diagnosis, and eating disorder stabilization. With all of these types of treatments, the Recovery Village ensures that their patients can be treated for everything, rather than picking and choosing what they need to be treated for. Because most recovery options do not have eating disorder stabilization options, eating disorders have to be treated elsewhere, often where they can't be treated for drug and/or alcohol abuse. At the Recovery Village, they offer that combination, as well as treating a dual diagnosis, as mental disorders are often present when drug or alcohol abuse is present.

Comprehensive Treatment

A lot of recovery centers only include inpatient treatment, which leaves out much of the necessary treatment after the detox, hospitalization, and recovery. With the Recovery Village, not only do they help you through detox, and residential inpatient recovery, but they also offer outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, eating disorder stabilization, and aftercare. With all of the options for treatment, the Recovery Village ensures that its treatment fits its clients needs perfectly.

Detox On-Site

One of the many benefits of having a medically trained staff on site is also have the ability to detox patients on site. Because a lot of rehab companies don't offer detoxification on site, it creates issues when transferring from a detox location to the rehab location. Because they offer detoxification, you can start your treatment immediately after your detoxification, and you can remain in the same location, eliminating a lot more planning and moving. With the Recovery Village, inpatient detox can last from several days to just over a week, depending on the types of drugs used before treatment. With the inpatient detox, you will be monitored 24/7 by trained professionals and will remain with the same professionals throughout the treatment.

Unfortunately, the Recovery Village doesn't include any of their statistics, which makes it difficult to understand whether or not the Recovery Village is a good option for you or your loved ones. Without statistics and studies on whether or not their treatments are effective, there's no reason to trust their treatments or to even consider the Recovery Village a good option for you or your loved one's recovery. Though they do detail some aspects of recovery, there isn't a lot of information about what each program entails, from the alcohol abuse program to the eating disorder program.

The Bottom Line

In the end, the Recovery Village offers a large amount of programs, making it easy to work with anyone's schedule, no matter what treatment they need. With their many different treatment options, including dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug rehab, mental health treatments, and eating disorder treatment, the Recovery Village is able to treat many different types of people with the same quality of care. With an on-site detoxification treatment, and many different options for outpatient and aftercare treatments, Recovery Village is a decent option for recovery. Keep in mind that they do not detail some of their aspects of recovery and they do not detail any of the statistics on whether or not their programs are actually effective.
