Renaissance Ranch is focused on improving the lives of all family members who have been influenced by addiction. Family members are encouraged to participate in the family retreat without extra charge. Family Retreat that covers three days of focused education, discussion, processing and experiential work that enables family members to experience their own treatment process and increase self-awareness and emotional healing. The Family Retreat experience will address several topics that include but are not limited to the 12 Steps, Codependency, Shame, Character Defects, journaling, Bibliotherapy and Spirituality.

12 Step Support Program

Renaissance Ranch uses the original 12 step program combined with LDS gospel principles to help your whole family. This programs is a step by step counseling and recovery program that promises long lasting results. The program focused on personal recovery, family therapy and services.

Few Locations

Again, not necessarily a negative feature, but if you are not local to the Utah area, you will need to factor in travel costs into your plans. Renaissance Ranch has outpatient facilities in Arizona, Idaho, and Utah, but its main treatment centers are in Bluffdale, Utah.

I went to Renaissance Ranch back in 2013 and it was by hands down the best treatment center I have been to. The one biggest unique things that I noticed that set them apart from other treatment centers I have been is the environment of love and the Brotherhood.

The men's inpatient program at Renaissance Ranch was the first step in turning my life around. I was hopelessly addicted to drugs and alcohol for many, many years. The staff gave me the love, support, and guidance that was needed to lay a solid foundation in which I could build a new life upon. This place saved my life.

So I don't know everything about this company but my father did manage to get in to this rehab center and from what I could tell, it was the best one that he had ever gone to. Though he did not get better (totally his fault) they really taught those who attended the best they could in ways that a rehab hospital can't. Most hospitals just make you stay on the rehab floor for a few weeks until the drugs or alcohol are out of your system. The Renaissance Ranch however makes the addicts work their butts off and really try to get get clean. I hope that others feel the same way.

Renaissance Ranch claims to have an LDS approach and equine therapy. Both are false. As for horses you just feed and clean up. LDS doctrine ignored and when used, therapist Kris makes up doctrine. She is the weirdest ever. Not a safe environment. Also, no counselling first two weeks. An intervention orientation in which you are belittled with lies and uninformed analysis by whole group and counselor. Expensive and useless.
