The Good

• Product Line
• Customer Service
• Ease of Integration
• Lowest Price Guarantee

Product Line

Doba offers an extensive product offering, which included over 2,000,000 items. Name brands are included in the listings, but many of the featured or trending products which Doba highlights are not from brands which one could necessarily recognize. Doba gives their customers a choice on the type of merchandise which they will stock and allows them to create robust and varied inventories.

Customer Service

Doba representatives work from 10am - 7pm, 7 days per week.

Ease of Integration

Doba's real-time inventory management is easily integrated with eBay and Amazon Marketplace listings

Lowest Price Guarantee

If a lower price is found from another drop shipping supplier for an identical item, customers simply contact Doba and will receive up to $120 in membership credit from Doba.

The Bad

• Short Trial
• Confusion

Short Trial

While offering a free trial, it is rather short, so it may not be possible for those using the free trial to fully know if the service is one to which they want to continue to subscribe.

Confusion

There is some confusion as to how automated Doba is in regards to integration with a subscriber setting up an online catalog and customers ordering directly from that site, sending the order to Doba and paying the website owner. Reviewers received conflicting information from representatives and there is little/no information available on the site's pages.

The Bottom Line

Doba's customer service department does not maintain integrity of policies, products and procedures during interactions with the reviewers on separate interactions. This lack of consistency and differing responses may simply be a lack of training, etc., but with the company's other non-transparent behaviors, there is enough doubt so that a shadow is cast upon the company as a whole. Though past experience cannot be ignored, Doba has plenty of good features that should not be overlooked as well. By becoming a member of Doba's services, you will get instant access to over 2,000,000 products. This feature along with their ease of integration is a major bonus for those interested in dropshipping services. Overall, Doba offers superior features but has a poor track record of customer service. Those interested in Doba should first give them a call to make sure their needs match up with what is offered.
