My husband and I have been on two Norwegian cruises and four other cruises with other lines. We enjoyed the freedom of Norwegian and the programs and entertainment more than on any other cruise line. The dining fare is excellent too and we could choose when and which dining room we wanted to have a meal. We always had a great breakfast in the dining room when we did not have a deadline for a shore tour. The cafeteria has great meals but it is always more than busy and not relaxing.

I have been on Carnival in the past and decided to try Norwegian. I was impressed with many things.... the number of activities, the layout of the ship, the super friendly staff all the way from the top to the bottom, and the Shows were awesome. So many options for things to do. The price was a little more than Carnival and I feel the disembarking was better organized on Carnival. Overall I would still choose Norwegian unless Carnival offered something that I could not say no to

We had an awesome time on the Norwegian Sky to the Bahamas. There was plenty to do, food was great- we did NOT have to wait at any of the restaurants even without prior reservations. Our cabin steward was fabulous, all the waiters, bartenders and crew. The Captain was friendly and funny. We will definitely cruise with them again.

Sailed with them many times...always wonderful,last 3 times traveled in The Havens....it was a totally great experience.The a FreeStyle dinners are a terrific idea,and will only sail on a ship that has this wonderful option. Going again,two week cruise to the Caribbean this February.....can't wait

Getaway was wonderful ...never felt crowded. Entertainment was first rate and the food was good in all venues. Ate in Cagneys outside on the waterfront and the food and waiterstaff was excellent and worth the extra charge. Yes to avoid issues book the shows, spa and restaurants early. We especially loved the mojito bar that was inside and outside. Strolling the deck and outdoor dining cant be beat ! Staff was very friendly as was the passengers.

My husband and I have taken about 15 cruises with NCL. We are always pleased. The last time we cruised we hit the reef in Bermuda. The Captain informed us as to what was going on and everything was taken care of. The news media made it worse then it was, so a lot of people at home were very concerned. I have noticed that some of the things they use to give, i.e. chocolates on the pillow have stopped unless you are in a higher class. Since we have sailed so many times, we do get more benefits. Over all we like NCL. We will be going again in January!

Inner passage to Alaska on Pearl. What a wonderful cruise! We did purchase one specialty restaurant meal, and I found the standard offerings as good as what cost extra. A LOT of entertainment offered onboard. Loved the shows, cruise staff, ports of call, the whole shabang!

We have always cruised NCL but unfortunately now we can't because my husband is now on dialysis and we are forced to use a line that does dialysis. Come on NCL, do dialysis so we can come home.

I was on NCL Dawn to Bermuda when the ship hit a sand bar on the way home. The Captain immediately let us know every hour what was happening. Everything was normal no interruption. However we went back to Bermuda and had an extra half day on the island. We also received a 15 percent discount on future cruise. Hope to take advantage of this

have enjoyed both the gem and the breakaway and we are again cruising this october on the gem. love the ease of the port new york. the gem is a more cozy ship (while big) and great for the 50 plus set and the breakaway is large and full of things to do (for any age). lots of choices on both. never had a problem with crowds or finding something to do. freestyle cruising is the only way we will go. wish there was more choices for winter weekend getaways...

Ed Begel NCL managment does not live up to the contract agreements we sign when we booked 26 people on the Getaway in July 2015. Even our travel agent called them and so did the Travel agents NJ Corp. office. NCL told them that NCL can change the Terms and Conditions anytime and would not make an exception for us. We called before the trip NCL and they would not talk to us about Contract issues. Two weeks ago we sent NCL an email and they responded with a standard response and did not address a single issue in our email. The issue was the following, our agreement said that the on board credits could be used for anything and they would not let us use them for Gratuities. So it cost us an addtional $1400. NCL adds are still showing this option but will not let you us it.... so be careful. As for the ship, it was very nice and as good as the Royal Caribbean Oasis or Quantum class with did cost more then the same room and itinerary as RC lines. Also the Royal Caribbean line does not change contract direction. We have gone on many cruises and have never had this happen.

Sailed on the Pride of America in Hawaii. We chose it for the itinerary. The state room was fine, love having balcony! Activities were good. Service was mediocre. Steward forgot out turn down several nights but did come when called. Dining was not to my liking. We had to wait for a table almost every night. There was a similar dining area downstairs but service there was terrible. Many of the people waiting for tables preferred to wait instead of going to the other venue. Service was slow at best. I much prefer fixed dining where you get to know your waiter, your table is always ready on time. I will only use NCL for an itinerary I can get nowhere else.

We love NCL! We enjoy a balcony room, the free-style dining, and the evening shows. Before we board, we have our port itinerary in place, so the fabulous ports are important to us. It is a great cruise line to kick back and do what you want when you want. We have always found the crew very to be friendly and attentive. So far we have been on 3 Norwegian cruises and look forward to another one in 2016 to the Baltic area.

Another great time on a Norwegian Cruise. This time it was the Getaway to the Carib. The ship was fantastic. The crew was very professional. We felt welcomed everywhere we went, especially in the dinning areas. The only negative was the casino area which was cramped and too smoke filled with non non-smoking areas for video poker.

My husband and I are now booked on our 12th cruise with Norwegian ! We LOVE this cruise line. There is much to do and the balcony rooms/suites are very comfortable. the ONLY thing we have been disappointed in is the embarkation and debarkation. I need a wheelchair as I have COPD , and while they say we will get priority we often have to wait almost (1) hour to get on or off the boat. and MANY times I have a long wait for a wheelchair. Otherwise, we would NOT even consider another cruise line !

We have now been on 4 cruises with NCL and have booked the 5th. We just returned form Belise, Hondorus Mexico.Overall is was a great cruise except the College kids were out of control, Running up and down the hallways yelling Drunk on the dance floor. We had an issue with one of the vendors in Cosumel. The staff is great and the food was good. Really need someone to keep the drunks in check. Belise was great loved tubing the caves

I have taken several cruises with Norwegian.. They do a great job and I am going again in Sept.. My one complaint is this.. I am going with another lady.. We are good friends.. She lives on the west coast and me on the east.. We have a beautiful suite, but now they say they will not change the queen bed for two singles.. We are not that good friends..If this happens,where one of us has to sleep on a pullout bed for these prices, we will not use this line again..

We cruised on NCL Pearl in March. Since it was our first cruise ever, I cannot compare other cruise lines, but we loved the freestyle cruising. The entire staff and crew were wonderful on the Pearl. We had such a great time that we are cruising on the Gem in January. The other cruise lines never appealed to us because we don't want the structure of when you have to eat and that you have to "dress" up for dinner. We are too laid back for that. We like to make our own decision of when to eat and what to wear!!

I've been on 3 NCL cruises. My 4th is on the Epic next month. I love free style cruising. There are great food options that are included in your passage. You need not upgrade to enjoy the experience. I've been on the Epic and Getaway when they were full and never felt the crowd.. I never stood in line for more than a few minutes. Staff/ crew always very friendly, helpful, professional. NCL is perfect for my husband and I. Eat when you want. On the newer ships there are a dozen restruants that you can eat without paying for a specialty. A wide variety of entertainment. Being loyal pays off. Many upgrades. staff are amazing. Would recommend this cruise line for young families, middle aged couples or singles. The cruises to Bahamas and Carribean are good for younger and the longer cruises such as Canada-New England, are geared more for middle aged and older couples. Best Line ever!

We love Norwegian , after 18 cruises with the family friendly line we decided to change lines after they violated ADA laws, many times. We have enjoyed both the EPIC and the Breakaway. and have no complains. In fact they have gone out of their way to help with my handicapped husband.. Service is wonderful as is the food.
