Nonexistent customer service. No sizing standardization. They cheat customers when offering a "discount". And they refuse to acknowledge they made a mistake on my order. I will never, ever patronize them again. Their petite clothes used to be good quality and well designed. Now they mark up their prices then offer non existent "discounts". No more. Thanks for nothing more than cheaply made, over priced ugly clothing sold by rude salespersons.

I have purchased a few items from JJill over the years and I have found that the quality is very poor..... pants with undone hems, loose buttons, cheap fabrics. For what you pay, the quality could be better. It’s all smoke and mirrors, meaning they do a fine job marketing their brand but they don’t have the chops to hold up the standard. I won’t shop there any more.

this credit card charges a mandatory monthly fee of $2. When that $2 is not paid, a $27 monthly late fee is assessed. Tried several times to close this account. Representatives are rude, condescending and not helpful. First attempt to close account did not work and although I had email documentation of communication with a representative- they did not believe me and I was charged the second month of late fees. Ended up paying over $200 for one purchase of $ 45.

I purchased a few items last summer and a pair of Capri pants that I loved started to lose the stitching on the bottom of the back pocket after two or three washes and the color faded a ton. Now those same Capri pants don’t have bottoms to either back pocket since the stitching is now gone. They didn’t even last one summer! Unacceptable.

Very disappointed! They need to listen to the people and bring back the original elliptical tee! I can't stand that seam in the back! Why is it there? I want an explanation! I went as far as purchasing the originals on eBay. And their newest catalog is a bit frumpy...I have been buying JJill for almost 20 years (I'm 50). I am thinking about cancelling my card. The tees brought me into the stores and I'd end up buying much more. I will not go back until the tees are back!!!

The styles lately are horrible--such old lady stuff. Plain black dresses are ok but everything else-yikes! who is picking out material and design. I have been a solid customer and I am now backing away. Sad

For many years I have loved J.Jill. I was excited to see a newly opened store in Walnut Creek today, but it didn't seem anything like the J. Jill of a few years back. What happened?! I used to love their simple but sophisticated color schemes, natural fabrics, cotton cords, denim, and beautiful unique sweaters. The clothes now all look like grandmas closet! Such a shame. I'm 52 but feel way too young for the look in the store.

The company seems to be changing. No online reviews of merchandise, quality of fabric and construction has gone downhill. Really miss the reviews, as being in between sizes reviews are valuable. Also, the sales structure has changed, and the off season deals are not as discounted. I have been an online customer for many years, and no longer can be certain of quality or size.

Ordered a washable Bordeaux colored top for my first purchase from JJill.com. Spilled a drop of something on it first time I wore it. Dabbed it with cold wet cloth. It dried with a large lighter spot. Called customer svs and was blown off. “If it wasn’t delivered w/a spot we can’t help you”! I washed it in machine in cold water delicate cycle as instructed. Hung it on hanger to dry. Guess what? It’s now inches longer and rust colored. No wonder they have no reviews. GOODBYE JJILL!

I have been a jiill customer for about 10 years and love the clothes, BUT jjill removed all its customer reviews from its website. Since I don't have a store nearby, I rely on reviews to make online purchases. I have been in contact with cs and they say that jjill is updating its website and reviews will be back in a few weeks. Well, it's been more than a few weeks!

Quality has declined and prices increased. They mark things up when they come in to run a promo almost immediately we'll befote the end of the season. It's all about timing. The other issue is quality. So many things pill or simply don't last more than one season. It used to be so much better. Styles are hit or miss but there are enough to find something. The trouble is I want my clothing to last.

J Jill is one of the few stores that has plus size clothes I'd consider wearing, but I prefer to try things on rather than ordering through the mail and forfeiting shipping charges if something looks awful on me (usually the case no matter where I shop). So I drove 75 miles to the nearest store, only to find out that NONE of their stores stock plus sizes! Talk about discrimination and fat-shaming! I've avoided them ever since and will continue to do so unless they change this policy.

We used to LOVE J Jill! So much so that we saved the catalogs just to swoon over the pictures. The patterns were wonderful, artistic, elegant, feminine and gorgeous! Nowadays, everything is boring and very boxy and straight. Hardly a tuck in sight, nor a nice collar, and oh,, pleeeeaaase, those 3/4 sleeves! The plainness is unbelievable. So square. Now the catalog goes straight from the mailbox into the recycle bin. Too bad. I wonder what happened.... Different owners? Sylvia

JJILL used to offer really cute clothes - wrap around dresses, and form fitting clothing. Now, it is hospital gowns, and unflattering designs, and styles. I haven't bought anything from them in three years. Wondering when the design team will actually start making witty, fashionable women's wear instead of gunny sacks that make you look 10 times larger than you actually are. The quality is there, the design is awful.

Appalled and enraged at the fact that they did not give me a full refund, ""as other companies do,,and have".... but rather keep for themselves and deduct from your freaking refund, the shipping and handling and TAXES!!! First time shopper and never again. You're disgusting - we have never had any company we shop from on-line REFUSE to give us our TOTAL REFUND... (and we shop on-line almost exclusively). Cannot express on an open site what I really would like to say!!! Whose your CEO...will express our anger and disbelief EVERYWHERE....disgusted to no end!!!!!!!!!

As far as ordering online i will never do it again with this facility. They do not give a full refund. If you return an item they charge you for the return label which is suppose to be $6.94. They held out $17.00 plus recharged me again for the item and sent the item back out when they were not suppose to.(They're idiots) I'm 60 yrs old and i have ordered a lot online and have always gotten full refunds if i return. This is the 1st Company that i have had to deal with that does not want to give a full refund. No more ordering from J Jill for me.

I purchased 2linen box tops. I washed both by hand and hung them to dry. Pressed them. Voila!! They are so Huge now I can not wear them. I returned them to the store but was not treated very well by the sales person. I'm disappointed in the product and more disappointed in the customer service. Also the credit department said they could not give me a cash refund "until it is posted" and it may take a week or more to post. Really!! I'll do my best not to purchase inferior quality clothing at Jjill in tge future. Upsetting.

It cost me a total of 24.46 in cash not including time spent shipping back the order. None of the clothes fit even though I went by the size chart. I was charged 6.95 postage on the prepaid shipping label, plus no refund on the 15.95 shipping and handling, plus the customer service said they also kept 1.56 on taxes even though I shipped back the order and didnt keep any items. Will never order from J JIll again.

I have been a customer for years. Cancelled by my card due to poor delivery services and weeks to get a refund. I did not get a statement so called in to pay my bill via phone. I have never missed a payment and was billed $9.00 to pay them by phone. This is a scam. Wow. I will NEVER shop here again. Chico's it is.

Their website is crazy slow. During their sales, it's very frustrating to try to purchase a product. You may get a sale price; but, believe me, it costs you more Internet data than what you saved. Definitely not worth the hassle!

Was apalled to learn no plus size in retail store (especially since CEO was formerly at Lane Bryant). Issue can't be available space as more than 1/3 of store was devoted to petite and I am sure that there are more women size 16+ than under 5 foot 2

I received a gift card paid in cash from my husband to J.Jill for my birthday. I ordered items online and received the items by mail. I wanted to use the gift card that my husband paid for but I was told I could not. I was very disappointed. I got a gift card for another store as well and had no problem paying my bill.

J. Jill offers a 2-day shipping for extra $. I paid, they delivered 5 days later (4 business days). NOT OKAY. If I knew prior to ordering, I would have not ordered the clothes.

Do not get entangled with J.Jill.com You will be forever inundated with spam emails afterwards and unable to unsubscribe and if you live outside the USA your order will be subject to heavy duty tax. NOT WORTH IT>

It has taken been two weeks and I am still waitin for my item. In this day and age of 2-3 day shipping, how would a business survive with these inadequacys. You have lost a customer.

Fabrics are misrepresented, and sizing is inaccurate. Beware of their return policy. There is a $7 plus charge per item.

I really feel the cost of shipping is way to high . You should also be able to use more than one discount at a time .
