Craigslist is a great reliable resource for people who are looking for used cars from real people not just from company's. I really enjoy buying my cars through regular people trying to sell their cars on craigslist because I feel like Im getting a better genuine deal than what he company would be able to provide.

What I love most about car shopping on Craigslist is how real the listings are. It's real people advertising the sale and not some corporation trying to scam you into hidden fees. It's very honest: you get what you see.

Craigslist is great! I used other search engines to help me find a 2013 Subaru Outback, but eventually found one a few hundred miles away in New Orleans, Louisiana via Craigslist. (I was living in Mobile Alabama at the time) Its nice that people can post whatever items want... pay attention to those pictures though when car shopping!

Craigslist has a very simple and easy to navigate website. A few months back I was looking for an older beater car to use around town, and within searching the site, I found a great seller and was able to get in contact with them in very minimal time. The purchase process was easy and if looking for another in the future, I will be coming back to craigslist.

I have used Craigslist to find and purchase almost very car I've owned. You always have to be careful when dealing with complete strangers and potential scams, but as long as you're careful, I would highly recommend.

Craigslist felt sketchy the whole time I was looking through cars. A lot of the cars looked broken down, or when I asked the seller for a CarFax they were not wanting to/able to provide it. It didn't give me a whole lot of trust in the cars that were being sold. The website is kind of old and run down and occasionally a pain to use and navigate through.

Using craigslist to search for cars has its ups and downs. I had come across a fairly decent 2012 mustang and I wanted to see it in person since it had such a nice price, but in person it was completely different. You just never really know what product you are going to be shown.

I was on craigslist over the past couple of days looking for cars. I feel like there is a lot of stuff for sale on this site, but what I struggled with is the site itself. It looks to be over 10 years old. It is not very customer friendly and looks super outdated. I would recommend using this site if you are looking for a car in your area, just be aware that you see visually is not the most appealing.

I like having the ability to look through vehicles and see what ballpark I’ll be paying for a vehicle before I buy it. You do have to watch out for scammers, but overall, this is a great way to purchase a car.

I am currently looking for a new vehicle. I do find cars posted on Craigslist that are not on other sites, so this valuable, especially for finding cars for sale by owner. What is more frustrating about Craigslist is that there aren't as good of filters so you have to scroll through a lot more cars to find the specific kind you are looking for.

Craiglist can be a bit sketchy since the listings are not always regulated, but it is a good way to find a cheap car fast. You would need to do a lot of your own research on the vehicles and gauge if the situation is safe.

Craigslist is by far the sketchiest, worst place to find anything at all, especially cars. Bought a van from Craigslist once from someone who claimed to be the founder of a church organization who collects donated cars and sells them cheap. Supposedly all funds from the cars bought went to the church organization. Instead I ended up getting a van that had black mold and was overpriced. I don't trust Craigslist for anything.

I would never buy a car from Craigslist. With so many companies reviewing actual cars, I would be hesitant to buy straight from a private seller. I almost bought one and it turned out to be a lemon. I’m glad I dodged that mistake.
