I have owned two uses Hyundai vehicles, both Elantras. They have run well, and any time I have needed repairs they have been normal repairs you would expect from cars with high mileage. Good for commuting, and a lot of resources on the internet to fix small problems myself. Again, they were used.

We have a 2010 Hyundai Elantra and overall have been pleased with it. There have been a few minor things that have given out like USB port and windows and locks that I feel should have definitely lasted longer (gave out around 60,000 miles). Other than regular maintenance there have not been any major repairs needed and we just hit 100,000 miles.

Hyundai cars are pretty reliable as long as you continue maintenance on them regularly. Parts are not super expensive, so that makes repair costs cheaper than the notable Japanese brands.

I have had my Sonata for 8 years and over 100,000 miles. I have performed the recommended maintenance at the dealer. I have had no major repairs. It is a comfortable and reliable car.

Returned our lease and wasn't happy with the customer service. It's like they are mad at you for not purchasing a car. We brought the car back with low miles and pristine condition and they still want the drop off fee. Get that out of your contract in the beginning!

Felt like a super reliable car for a long time. Worked exactly how we needed it to. However, as soon as we hit close to 200,000 miles everything started breaking and it got very difficult to maintain.

Hyundai has many unreasonable prices for useless vehicles. A manager tried to sell a car to my family with such useless reasoning, and is talked all nonsense. When being a manager, try to manage better in the future.
