With over 425,000+ books to choose from, Audible has one of the largest selections of audiobooks out there. When new members sign up for Audible, they get a free book during their first month. After that, they can sign up to download one audiobook a month for $14.95, or two for $22.95. If members want to download additional material to listen to, they get 30% off a book's price. Other benefits of joining Audible:

Because Audible is so large, they have the money and time to make their website and apps easy to use. Audible offers apps for all smart phones and some reading tablets. It's easy to download or stream their content. You can even easily download books to a CD. While Audible's prices are good if you are a member, they're more expensive if you're not. If you're the kind of person who listens to a few audiobooks a year, you may not realize you'll end up paying more for those three books than it would have cost you to sign up for a year-long membership. On the other hand, if you're the type of listener who devours books and wants to listen to three or more a month, Audible can be expensive. Members who want to listen to more than two books a month pay 70% of an audio book's full price.

Audible has the best selection of audiobooks (over 425,000) and they offer them at an amazing price for their members. While most audiobooks are around $30 a piece, you can get them for less than half the price when you sign up with Audible. When you sign up for Audible, they don't lock you in for a set amount of time. Customers can cancel their membership anytime they want. We also love that Audible offers a 30-day trial, so potential customers can see what it's like and determine if they want to invest in audiobooks. Overall, we think Audible is one of the best companies that sells audiobooks and we highly recommend them.

Using Audible is a lot of fun. I have always loved listening to Audio-books and this is a great place to do it! It is much better than renting a book on CD from the library. When you take into account how much it costs to buy an audio-book the monthly payment to use Audible is much cheaper. I have been able to find every book that I have wanted to. It's a great service.

I've been an Audible user for probably close to 15 years. I'm not the kind of guy who can sit and read a book. But I love to put on headphones and work around the house, in the yard or drive to work while listening to an audiobook. It's been a great run, but I think the subscription plan is a bit outdated since there are other services out there that provide free or low-cost audiobooks now.

Audible’s service, quality, system, selection, etc are all fantastic! However, in pricing, it is generally more economical to go buy 1 audiobook a month from another source where you can apply discounts, etc. If audible provided more discount or discounted options, I would have remained a customer. However, the monthly rates were too high to justify.

I like audibles because they have a lot of amazing audio books and they are voiced very well. The thing that I don’t like is the membership cancellation process. You have to confirm that you want to cancel membership like 3 times.

It is a fun way to alternatively "read" books. I listen to book all while at work and find myself immersed and time flies by. The only downside is how often Amazon tries to get you to buy more books and sends your credits when you don't want to use them. I don't read more than one book every few months, so it takes me longer than most.

Audible was a little hard for me to use because it was confusing but the actual quality of it was amazing. The employees weren't super helpful when I tried to cancel my subscription do to change in income, but overall it is a great program to use for audio books.

I had an account with audible through Amazon briefly. While I liked the concept and idea, the first and only book I tried to listen to, which had great reviews, was way too boring to sit through. Could be that this just a bad first experience.

I love this app, its so fun that I can be listening whenever I want. I really enjoy it specially before I go to sleep. I think its a good investment if you like books, not only as a hobby but for education, and instead of reading you can relax and listen. I think it would be great if the prices were a little lower haha

The choice of books is excellent. One thing that irritates me slightly is the click bait way they sell extra credits. Don’t get me wrong I’ll buy extra credits when I need more books but pretending it’s an offer is slightly shonky. But quality wise and the fact that it finally syncs with my sonos makes it wholly unbeatable.

If you love audio books, Audible is a great company! We have gotten a few books from them and have been very happy with them. They make it very easy to build up a great collection. We weren't using all of our credits and so ended up terminating out subscription because we didn't want to pay for something we weren't using.

I’ve used audible a few times to listen to books. I’ve realized that I need to listen to books only when I’m not doing anything. I used to do it while I was working, but then I get so focused on work and realize that I don’t know what just happened in the book. Great service overall though.

Audible has a great selection of audio books available, and I can get them for a steal when they are on sale. I like the fact that I can purchase audio books on Audible without being an Audible member, but if you plan on purchasing a lot of audio books, paying the monthly membership is worth it. Not only do you get one audio book per month, but you save 30% on all other audio book purchases. My only beef with Audible is that I can't make audio book purchases directly from the app. I have to do it from a browser. It would be nicer if I could even see the prices directly from the app.

I got an Audible account about a year ago and have enjoyed the books that I've downloaded. The app version is easy to use, but more importantly, the voices of the books are pleasing to listen to. I've had other audiobook accounts and the voices of the books can be extremely annoying and irritating. Although I consider Audible to be one of the better audiobook services out there, the audiobooks can be very expensive.

I always maintain a Audible subscription because I like to listen to books on the way to work. The system is easy to use and often they offer two for one sales which I love. Sometimes, however, I hate using a full credit on a cheap book so I will just buy the book and not use a credit. I always use the audio books on my phone and it is easy to move the books from your phone back to the cloud if you need to free up space on your phone.
